Military Services

U.S. Army

UStronics provides secure and reliable satellites communication to U.S Army globally, particularly in all underserved geographies. We offer satellite broadband connectivity to mission-critical projects with low-latency worldwide.

We offer secure high throughput satellite connectivity via improved Ku and Ka-band for Maritime applications. Ku and Ka-band services are critical especially in challenging or disaster-prone geographies.
Mobile Satellite Services can extend naval operations to nearly anywhere on the planet at data speeds acceptable for secure applications with either voice or low-bandwidth requirements

u.S. Air force

Secure and dependable satellite broadband connectivity is critical for airborne communications. We offer reliable Ka-band satellite uplink/downlink for airborne services which support much higher data rates than those using the more common Ku band. Use Ka-band for scenarios that SatCom can uniquely serve for multi-megabit data connections.

U.S. Coast Guard

Agencies such as the U.S Coast Guard requires stable and secure communication to operate their mission-critical tasks across the country. Only Satcom can deliver reliable broadband services to underserved regions with little or no coverage. We offer a range of satellite communication solution base on our customer’s need.

First Responders

Satellites for Government services

Over the decades that they have been in use, satellites have conferred a wide assortment of benefits for those who make use of them to achieve their purposes. Satellites have made their way into the hands of a wide variety of users, including many governments. Governments can use satellites for any number of reasons, and using them as a method of communication and internet access for their operations is something that has been done frequently. UStronics provides many effective satellite products that can be used for government purposes, enabling better governance and more effective services for citizens.

Government operations can take place in any number of locations, both domestic and abroad. It is impossible to foresee where every site that government activity can take place might be located, making the acquisition of communications technology that can function anywhere a high priority for governments. Satellite phones can be used by government workers in remote areas to contact cell phones and landlines. Some satellite phones, like the Iridium Extreme PTT offered by UStronics, also provide push-to-talk capabilities. Push-to-talk means that these satellite phones can make calls to other satellite phones, regardless of their connection to cellular or other networks. Having satellite phones can let government workers do their jobs better by making communications easier for them. It can also improve the happiness of personnel substantially to have a reliable method of communicating with their loved ones when in isolated areas.

Mobile terminals are another form of satellite technology that can be used for government purposes. Mobile terminals, like the Iridium Certus or the Hughes 9202 Land, can be used by small groups of government employees to connect to the internet. They provide sufficient bandwidths to allow for rudimentary internet access, more than enough to perform tasks like checking email and sending messages. While they may not have the highest bandwidths, mobile terminals are exceptionally portable, resilient, and easy to set up. They are also quite affordable, allowing government users to provide their workers with adequate internet access in a highly efficient manner. UStronics offers a wide range of mobile terminals that can be used for this purpose. UStronics also provides a wide selection of VSAT’s for use by government customers, including fly-away, drive-away, and fixed VSAT’s. VSAT’s can be used by government operators in need of more bandwidth, to provide internet to large numbers of people or for high data applications, like video transmission. Regardless of the product used, satellite internet is quite feasible for government use.

UStronics also offers a selection of satellite tracking devices. These devices can be used to monitor assets anywhere they go, allowing for better management. Satellite tracking can be used to find assets and prevent loss, of course. Still, they can also be used for logistical support, since knowing the exact position of an asset, whether it is a vehicle, piece of machinery, or container makes determining things like transit times much more manageable. Satellite technology can be used to support a wide range of government activities, and employees, from aid workers in areas affected by natural disasters without communication to personnel deployed abroad who would benefit from a way to keep in touch with their loved ones.  UStronics offers a wide range of satellite products for government use, many of which can also be used by the military. The use of these products can help to improve efficiency and allow operators to achieve their aims much more quickly and efficiently than they could without the advanced satellite communication capabilities offered by UStronics.

Law enforcement

Satellite services used constantly by police forces when there is no cellular services are available. Satellite Push to Talk services is one of reliable and cost-effective alternative communication which is being used by the state, local, tribal, territorial, and campus law enforcement agencies. Iridium PTT and Ligado MSat solutions are perfect examples.

Emergency Medical Services

Emergency medical responders teams usually focused on enabling communication and video feeds back to incident command and control rooms, allowing better overall control and response times. Using satellite network is a stable, and alternative communication solution when other primary communications mediums are down. Satellite connectivity saved many lives in past natural disasters.

Fire Department

Satcom used by firefighters to get intelligence about the fire temperature sensing and infrared readings through walls for locating casualties.
Satellite devices that use two-way video also helped paramedics accessing patients’ medical data and relaying video of a casualty to a specialist.
Dispatchers could view the location of a fire dept vehicle, know whether it was available for communications and engage in a PTT call over a SatCom.

Earthquake

The potential for communication disruptions for public, private and government organizations is rising due to natural and human-caused disasters, leading to chronic or unforeseen outages of communication services provider and wide-area networks.

To support overall organizational resilience in these types of circumstances, leaders must recognize satellite data and voice communications services to address fundamental requirements of strong infrastructure.

Tornado

It is crucial for the government to invest in Public Safety and Security by preparing a long term disaster and safety communications network. The disaster safety communications network will leverage by installing, operating and managing the backup satellite network. UStronics offers different satellite options which target Emergency Operation Recovery Services, First Responders.

Hurricane

In the past decade, we witness severe weather, and other natural disasters impacted public and private organizations in numerous regions. Terrestrial networks at risk from accidents which may affect both wired and mobile networks. The value of Satcom connectivity as a backup connection assuring organizational resilience. Currently, Satcom can provide downlink throughput at broadband speeds of 50 Mbps or greater at less than 50 milliseconds of latency.
